He founded Farmani Gallery in Los Angeles and New York and Rooftop Gallery in Bangkok. An art envoy of the United States Embassy, his own collection of photographs was called by the curator of the Getty Museum “One of the most important private photography collections in the United States”. 25/05/2022 Para los que gusten y den importancia a las noticias de Instagram y dada la relevancia a nivel mundial de los implicados, les comento que hoy me he encontrado con un impactante nuevo seguidor en dicha red; nada menos que la Newsland House Gallery, del Reino Unido. El prestigioso Simon de Pury (curador de la Colección Thyssen-Bornemisza desde 1979 a 1986, presidente de Sotheby’s Suiza en 1986, y posteriormente, presidente de Sotheby’s Europa y principal subastador en todo el mundo) se unió a la nueva galería británica, ubicada en una casa del siglo XVIII en West Sussex, en el año 2020, como director artístico.
En la Newsland House Gallery destaca también la presencia de la curadora y especialista en Arte Contemporáneo Maya Binkin (colaboradora habitual de The Art Newspaper, Artuk.org y Forbes Magazine) y creadora de The Art Pilgrim.
La aquí narrada es una de esas hermosas y motivadoras circunstancias que de vez en cuando ofrecen las redes sociales, y que agrada compartir con seguidores de mi trabajo, y con los amigos y amigas.
